Webhook Integrations: Connecting DialCloud to Zapier and Slack

Webhooks let DialCloud push event data to other tools in real-time. When a specific event occurs (an appointment is booked, a call is completed, a callback is requested) DialCloud sends an HTTP POST request to a URL you specify, containing the event data as JSON. This allows you to connect DialCloud to any tool that accepts webhooks: Slack, Zapier, Make (formerly Integromat), your CRM, a custom internal dashboard, or any other system.
The most popular webhook integrations are Slack notifications (get a message in your #bookings channel when someone books) and Zapier automations (push new contacts to your CRM, add appointments to a Google Sheet, trigger an email sequence). To set up a Slack notification, create an incoming webhook URL in Slack, then paste it into DialCloud's webhook configuration (Settings > Integrations > Webhooks) and select the 'appointment.booked' event. Every new booking will now appear in your Slack channel with the customer name, service type, and scheduled time.
For more complex workflows, Zapier acts as a middleware layer. Create a Zap that triggers on DialCloud's webhook, then add any actions you need: create a contact in HubSpot, add a row to Google Sheets, send a personalized email via Mailchimp, or update a project in Asana. The webhook payload includes all relevant data (customer information, appointment details, call transcript summary) so your downstream tools have everything they need without additional API calls back to DialCloud.
