SMS Consent & Messaging Policy

This policy describes how businesses using the DialCloud.ai platform collect consent for and send SMS text messages to their customers.

How Consent Is Collected

When you call a business that uses DialCloud.ai as its phone answering service, you may provide your phone number during the call. Before any text message is sent, the AI phone agent will inform you: “I'll send you a text confirmation at this number.” By providing your phone number and confirming, you consent to receive text messages from the business you called.

You may also provide consent by:

  • Submitting your phone number through the business's website or online booking form
  • Providing your phone number in person to the business

What Messages You Will Receive

By providing consent, you agree to receive the following types of text messages from the business you called (e.g., “Superior Plumbing”, “ABC Electric”). Each business using DialCloud.ai sends messages under its own name.

  • Appointment confirmations (sent after booking)
  • Appointment reminders (sent 24 hours before your appointment)
  • Scheduling updates, including reschedule and cancellation confirmations
  • Service follow-ups related to your appointment

All messages are transactional only. No marketing, promotional, or advertising messages will be sent.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your appointments. You will typically receive 1-3 text messages per appointment.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
